Went on a trip to KL during my birthday, warning: a lot of pictures.

 

The hotel I stayed in during my trip.

This is a shopping area, with Pavilion, Low Yat, Berjaya Times Square, Sungei Wang and more.

 

Berjaya Times Square

Berjaya Times Square Christmas tree.

Many floors, top floor is 10th floor but they have a different level naming for b1, 1st and 2nd floor over there. They call it LG (Lower Ground), G (Ground) and UG (Upper Ground). So actually 1st floor starts at the 3rd floor.

Their indoor theme park.

Its advertised as the largest food court, it spans the entire 10th floor. But the food ain't that great and also not as many stalls as expected, just that there are many seats available.

Too many floors. Above level 5 is deserted. Haha.

Low Yat Plaza

This is Low Yat Plaza, the top IT mall in Malaysia. Something like Sim Lim Square.

 

The Curve

This is The Curve, a shopping centre beside the Royale Bintang Damansara

Actually I took the free shuttle bus from the Royale Bintang at Bukit Bintang area to Royale Bintang Damansara. Saved a bit of cab fare.

Had lunch at La Manila in Taman Tun. Soy bean with chin chow.

One Utama

Another big shopping mall. One Utama.

Some drawing contest for kids held there.

Was this really necessary?

Chinatown

This is Chinatown, where you get stuff you can't get in Singapore.

30-year history muah chee. Notice the 1st flavour at the bottom in grape colour.

Now onto the stuff you really wanna see.

Some handle long, some handle short, some embroidered some printed.

 

Suria KLCC

KLCC. Well known.

One of them.

Big.

Tall.

Peak still taller than top floor.
